Today We Give our Employees/Elected Officials Their Work Review

So if you haven't already: VOTE

This email is written by humans and sent out very early Tuesday morning.  Thus, we cannot comment on the election outcomes.

According to the polls, and just common sense from having lived through the last year, what should happen is a massive blue wave; a resounding repudiation of both Trump and his corrupt administration and in some places, complicit Democrats.  Even centrists- only one party has those - should in theory easily win. Some people can’t seem to read the room though: Hailey Stevens- you endorsed the MAGA candidate 2 days before the election?  How much did that cost? Just asking.

With the temperament of the populace it seems like Tuesday is going to be a very bad day for Trump and his cabal, but we can’t forget that there will likely be massive voter suppression, intimidation and cheating by the GOP. Trump has offered a million dollars to anyone who reports someone that committed voter fraud and was convicted. Besides the fact that Trump never pays, the incidences of voter fraud are miniscule. It’s not only a rare crime, but thanks to the buffoonery of the cretinous James O'Keefe, we know it’s easily detected.

The real election fraud is happening out in the open, with Trump threatening to throw out the Alaska Senate election results unless the incumbent Dan Sullivan wins.  In no particular order: incumbent is listed next to the sitting Senator running for reelection. Who knew that the word incumbent has a b in it?  You get that joke or you don't. Thanks NYT for making this an issue. /s. Can we focus on true voting crimes, like having ICE at the polls to generate fear and perhaps prevent many people from voting at all.

So, until we get a full picture of the election results and the inevitable aftermath let's look at a couple of very ugly campaign ads. Vivek Ramaswamy.  Come on down. MAGA folks please listen.  Trump is sui generis.  It is shocking that he has pulled this off.  But no one else can do it. on a national level.  Ask DeSantis, Vance, Paxton and the future ones who try...

Our old friend Tommy Tuberville who was campaigning in Alabama to be their Governor..  On healthcare? Education? Fair wages and safe working environments?  No, old Tubs focused on the “real issues”, i.e. the made-up scenario in which your child goes to school where they undergo transgender surgery.

The same public schools which have been looted by both parties and often share or don't have a nurse onsite. Where parents have to provide written consent for an aspirin and teachers are dipping into their meager salaries to buy basic school supplies, and too often provide food for their students.  Thanks Elon Musk and Doge for cutting school lunches.  /s. In Trumps's version your beloved Timmy comes home three days later as a girl. Parents- how many of you waited even three hours if your child was late? As one meme states: we don't have money for crayons let alone surgeries. These are not only lies but ugly and ridiculous ones.

So Ramaswamy thought why not run a monstrous ad? After he and his mother committed several crimes pushing medicine for dementia that the FDA refused to certify- back when we had an FDA. Then did a pump and dump. No consequences. He also attacked Nikki Haley's teenage daughter crickets....For him, Ohio is clearly a stepping stone. He was still in contention but clearly losing. Thus that ad. But if backfired.

After all that Trump has done and said.  One could think there is no bottom. Now that we have reached a nadir perhaps we can claw our way back up. Politics has always been cutthroat and personal. See Adams v. Jefferson.  But it has gotten so much worse.

Rick Wilson, horrified at the ad attacking Amy Acton, crafted one against triple amputee and veteran Max Cleland that was disgusting and a lie. But it worked. George WH Bush ran the now infamous Wille Horton ad. Crimes stemming from a weekend furlough program that every state used. Not only did this geyser up fear and racism but helped to shape policy for years- supermax prisons, three strikes rule, calling people predators.

GOP, now you only have fear and lies.  Democrats, it is clear that people want to be represented and helped.  To vote for this party and get a Joe Manchin or Chuck Schumer is not the answer. Look at what Mamdani is doing or what el Sayed has already done. People are tired of the lesser of two evils.  Voting against pedophiles, criminals and billionaires to get nothing in return. And if you're looking for someone in Maryland to vote for, check out our zoom chat with Taylor McCollum. who is working for Andy Ellis: Green Party Governor Candidate.

We must demand more from our elected employees. Tuesday can mark the beginning of accountability in government. So get out and vote, and then stay vocal demanding our politicians follow through. And of course, show them our combined economic power as a little extra persuasion.  Don't Shop on Tuesday.
