In Utah and Idaho voters approved Medicaid Expansion for their respective states. The folks in charge- in both cases Republicans are in the majority- are working to thwart what is clearly the voice of the people.
(Note ignoring what people want is often a bipartisan effort.)
Voting is becoming increasingly difficult with all the chicanery including purging the eligibility rosters, limiting locations and early voting, as well as good old fashion suppression and intimidation and confusion.
So many citizens stay home on Election Day because they feel their voices/vote/preferences are not being heard.
In these two states the message is clear.
Don’t get discouraged or feel powerless. Fight back. Together.
Don’t Shop on Tuesdays.
