I Know What You Are


Now we are just haggling about price. (An old joke about money, sex and expectations.)


It never fails to be utterly amazing how cheaply our government and the wealthy donor class allows themselves be available for sale and how little it takes for institutions to ignore moral, ethical or legal guidelines.


Goldman Sachs, it is being alleged, sold out an entire country for $600 million in earned fees. Just to put this in perspective, the company has already allocated a billion dollars for anticipated federal fines.


And that does not include legal costs.


To look at it another way, Goldman Sachs’ net worth is an estimated at $50 billion. And thus engaged in what many would call criminal behavior to earn the above cited amount of money.
