Fascism in Pictures

Updated: Jul 20, 2025

In just over ten days, Donald Trump will be inaugurated for the second time, bringing with him a turn towards even less democracy and less representation in our government. The speed of our movement towards authoritarianism remains to be seen, but the direction Trump and the Republicans hope to take us is clear. What should we expect? And what can we do in the face of this repression? We spoke with Stephen Eisenman, professor emeritus, author and activist, in the aftermath of Trump's election, to discuss what's coming next and what we can do to resist.

If you want to learn more, you can read Stephen's latest book, "The Young Person's Illustrated Guide to Fascism." You can also find it Here.

In future episodes we hope to get Stephen back to discuss his amazing Climate Crisis work with the Anthropocene Alliance. We hope you find this chat informative and preparatory for the days ahead. And remember, every week you can always join in the fight by not shopping!
